Welcome to the press conference dedicated to the International Festival of African Culture "AFROFEST"

On August 16, 2023 at 15:00 a press conference dedicated to the only large-scale International Festival of African Culture "AFROFEST" in Russia will be held at the site of the International Multimedia Press Center "Russia Today".

The key goal of the Festival is to acquaint Russians with the wealth of African heritage, modern African art, mutual cultural exchange between Russia and Africa on the fields of the Greater Eurasian space, and expansion of business ties.

"AFROFEST" will be held on August 26 this year from 12:00 to 22:00. The Kuzminki-Lublino State Historical, Architectural and Natural Landscape Museum-Reserve (Kuzminki Park, Moscow, Kuzminsky Park Street, 1, building 2) will host the Festival.

Event of a variety of formats and a rich program will allow you to get acquainted with almost all aspects of modern and traditional African culture: music, dance, visual arts, cinema, fashion!

The organizers of the Festival are the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations "The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly" and the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization for the Development of Cultural, Educational, Business and Public Relations "House of Africa" with the support of the Department of Foreign Economic and International Relations of the city of Moscow.
