URA.RU: Chelyabinsk Governor's Wife ends Trip to India

The wife of Chelyabinsk Region Governor Alexei Teksler, Irina Teksler, has completed a trip to India. During her visit, she met with representatives of non-governmental organizations, the business community of several countries, and intellectuals.

"The Days of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly in India have come to an end. The series of events was a great success, bringing together representatives of non-governmental organizations, scientific and creative intellectuals, and business communities from different countries," the wife of the region's head said in her telegram channel.

One of the events, Texler participated in, was a session of the international forum “Historical and Cultural Roots of Spiritual Traditions of the Peoples of Eurasia”. The event, organized jointly with the Gobind Sadan Institute for Advanced Studies in Comparative Religion, was held in the official capital of India, New Delhi (New Delhi district).

Irina Texler also reported on the launch of an exhibition of children's paintings 'The World Draws Happiness'. The exhibition includes the works of the students of Maharaja Baba Virsa Singh Primary School. The students live and study here. They come from the poorest families in India. The governor's wife brought gifts for the students of the school.

The program of the trip included Texler's participation in the tourism block. As part of the communication, the participants were invited to visit the Chelyabinsk region and visit tourist sites, in particular, Arkaim.
