The outcomes of the XVIII International Festival of Family Media Creativity “Sunflower” held by the ANO “EURADIA KIDS” humanitarian project of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly were summed up In Izhevsk
The theme of this year's festival was “Teacher. Parent. Student".
Young journalists, bloggers, and photographers took part in the media forum. The geography of the festival is extensive: Uzbekistan, Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Irkutsk, Perm region, Udmurtia, Moscow region, Moscow. The festival opened with a bright celebration at the Adeli Republican Rehabilitation Center.
The festival program was intense. During a master class, TV presenter and actor Arkady Sharogradsky shared the secrets of acting with festival participants.
Theater and film actor Alexey Yasulovich held a creative meeting dedicated to his father, People’s Artist of Russia Igor Yasulovich, and introduced the children to Igor Nikolaevich’s thesis work “The First and the Second.”
Vologda storyteller Katya Kuvaeva, together with her daughter Stesha, performed fairy tales and nursery rhymes, introducing the audience to the Vologda dialect.
Tatyana Khoroshunova, a psychologist and writer, introduced techniques for getting rid of fears, and dentist Tatyana Galygina shared her experience of working with special patients.
Writer, historian, teacher, laureate of the 1st International Competition “Leader of Public Diplomacy” Igor Sechenov presented his new book - the fairy tale “A Friend in Need”. The co-organizer of the competition is the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly.
The guys from the Rebus Center for Individualization and Tutoring, under the direction of actor Arkady Sharogradsky, showed an interactive performance. Young craftsmen from the Vesta Center taught how to weave macrame.
The brightest delegation of the Festival were representatives of Buryatia. Children and adults showed national costumes, introduced the festival participants to national sports, musical instruments and national dishes. And all this was made thanks to the efforts of Lyudmila Budazhapovna Dorzhieva.
The children and teachers from the “Ural Podvorye” school spoke about their activities so interestingly!
It is important that the Sunflower festival has been welcoming “special” children for 18 years. This year they again became participants in the media festival.
“The experience of holding such a large-scale festival certainly needs to be scaled up. Let’s think together about how to expand the geography of participants next year and create opportunities for more children and families to take part in it,” said Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly Andrei Belyaninov while summing up all the festival events.
The festival organizer is the Center for Support of Creative Initiatives “Zhuraveynik+”. The festival is held under the patronage of the Deputy of the municipal assembly of the Kiyasovsky district Valery Viktorovich Buzilov and the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly.
The festival partners are the Nechkino STC, the Rus Center for Civil Initiatives, and the Adeli Republican Rehabilitation Center for Children and Adolescents with Disabilities.
