On December 20, 2023, the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations "Eurasian Peoples' Assembly" together with the Cultural Center "My Orthodox Motherland" (Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic) will hold the International Public Forum for Preserving the Memory of the Second World War and the Great Patriotic War.

The forum is dedicated to the history of Evacuation Hospital No. 1719, which was formed in the city of Molotov (from 1940 to 1957, now Perm) and went through a battle path through several countries, ending it in the Transnistrian capital - Tiraspol, where it is still “on the front line” – for example, in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. Today it is the Republican Hospital for Veterans of the Great Patriotic War.

The Forum will take place at the headquarters of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in Moscow and at the Republican Hospital of Veterans of the Great Patriotic War in Tiraspol in offline-online format. The event is supported by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Defense of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

Search teams and students - members of public organizations working to preserve the memory of Hospital No. 1719 - will speak at the Forum. Specialists from the St. Petersburg Military Medical Museum are invited to participate. The Minister of Health of the PMR, Kristina Albul, and the Chief physician of the Hospital, Dmitry Cholak, will deliver welcoming remarks.

The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly actively promotes the establishment of contacts between enthusiasts - young leaders of the countries of the continent. The organizers of the Forum are convinced that today it is especially important to support and develop initiatives of youth and non-governmental organizations aimed at bringing people together in all spheres of life - science, culture, business, production. But the most important issue for the peoples living in Eurasia today is the theme of preserving the memory of a common heroic past. Working with this theme, young people receive an education, unite for effective cooperation, exchange the experience and cultural traditions.

The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly invites all interested parties to take part in the Forum in a convenient format.
