The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly expands the horizons for children's media creativity. New Internet portal “EURASIA KIDS. Ambassadors of Peace" began its work. It will allow children to get acquainted with the work of their peers from different regions of Russia and the countries of Eurasia.
Anyone can become a member of the project. To do this, you need to register on the site, tell about yourself and write a motivation letter about who the Ambassador of Peace is.
The organizers of the portal plan to meet interesting people, teach children how to create media projects. The best practices will be included in the interactive map of media projects in Eurasia. And the most active children will go on an “Expedition to the Holiday” to Udmurtia, where they will get acquainted with the Udmurt people’s identity, visit the homeland of the famous “Grandmothers from Buranovo”. The winners of the project will be awarded in Moscow in December 2023.
Recall, and “EURASIA KIDS. Ambassadors of Peace is a project that promotes the intercultural interaction and enrichment of today's children, the formation of patriotic education and an interest in the historical and cultural heritage of Russia through active immersion in a creative, project-research process.
It represents a series of events aimed at involving children of different ethnic groups of Eurasia in broadcasting knowledge about cultural values, spiritual and moral traditions of the peoples of Russia and world Eurasian cultures.
The main principle of the project is the principle “children for children”, since this approach helps children to understand and accept both the values of patriotism and the peculiarities of intercultural interaction more easily, more accessible.
The project offers not just the transmission of values, but the direct involvement of children in specific activities - the publication of their stories, photo and video materials about the cultural and historical diversity of Russia, shaping them into ready-made media projects.
The project is implemented with the support of the Presidential Grants Foundation.
