Interfaith Music Festival in Moscow will bring together more than 300 Young Performers

An interfaith music festival will take place in Moscow. It  is aimed at implementing the state national policy to strengthen traditional spiritual and moral values, preserving interethnic understanding and interfaith harmony.

The festival will be hosted by the Moscow Children's Variety Theater. Its Artistic Director is composer, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation Valentin Ovsyannikov, who heads the Council for the Development of Children's Creativity of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly. The goal of the Council is to create a broad communication platform for creative interaction between talented children and professional artists from different countries to expand the space of cultural cooperation on the Eurasian continent.

The event was organized by the “Otkritie” Educational Program Support Center supported by the Department of National Policy and Interregional Relations of the City of Moscow and the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly.

The goals of the Interfaith Music Festival dedicated to the Day of National Unity are to preserve the national and cultural heritage of Russia, maintain and develop the traditions of choral art, popularize the best examples of domestic and world choral music, unite the efforts of public and religious organizations aimed at preserving and enhancing traditional spiritual and moral values.

15 children's folk and religious choirs of Russia will perform at the Festival. Total number of participants in artistic groups is 325 people.

The festival will take place on November 12, 2023 at 16.00 at the Children's Variety Theater at the address: Baumanskaya str., 32, building 1.
