The ХIХ International Festival of Family Media Creativity "Sunflower" will once again Gather Young Journalists

On September 20 - 22, 2024, the final stage of the 19th International Festival of Family Media Creativity “Sunflower” will be held in Izhevsk. This year's theme is: “Different families are important. We need different families." The International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations "Eurasian Peoples' Assembly" is a partner of the creativity forum.

Events taking place as part of the festival will start on June 1, 2024. The competition consists of several nominations. The program includes educational and playgrounds, master classes, meetings with interesting people. Participants can submit work both in person and in absentia. The winners of the festival will be awarded diplomas of various degrees.

The organizers of the festival are the Udmurt regional children's public organization "Center for Support of Creative Initiatives "Zhuraveynik+" in partnership with the Center for International Projects and Programs "EURASIA KIDS", the sports and tourist center "Nechkino", the Republican Rehabilitation Center for Children and Adolescents "Adeli".

The annual “Sunflower” festival will welcome “special” children for the 19th time. Last year, writer, historian, teacher, laureate of the 1st International Competition “Leader of Public Diplomacy” Igor Sechenov visited the competition site and presented his book to the participants.

The festival aims at improving and developing children's journalistic creativity among children and adolescents, understanding current trends in children's journalism in the regions of Russia and Eurasian countries.
