Our partners, experts from the Center for Social Technologies “Dealing with Meaning,” will help our participants learn how to create happy communities.”

On the first day of the educational forum - April 10, project participants plunged into an atmosphere of cooperation and co-creation during the Business Communication Strategy Game "Happy Villages" - a practical and educational intensive for leaders of rural areas. The House of Peoples of Russia provided a warm welcome.

“The title of the International Competition contains the word “rural”. It is very warming and evokes warm feelings. It’s good that in the Russian Federation there are opportunities to develop rural areas,” noted Mehriban Sadigova, advisor to the director of the House of Peoples of Russia, welcoming the guests. “More than 30 federal national public organizations work under the roof of the House. We do everything to support these structures. It is a very useful thing that works for the future. This building is the former Morozov estate, an object of historical and cultural heritage. Our home is your home!”

During the business game, based on an analysis of real practices, experts created a space for open and trusting communication. The important tasks of developing territories, improving places of tourist interest and excursion routes, and involving local communities in the design and implementation of projects were discussed.

During the game, the participants conducted a study of the culture of happiness, which allowed them to form a deep understanding of territorial values that give energy to all generations.

Realizing the work done, the finalists shared their impressions of the business strategy game “Happy Villages”:

“We received a serious upgrade in speaking skills, listening skills, teamwork, as well as the exchange of energy and a great mood. Important elements that we highlighted for ourselves: ideas, a vector for youth, teamwork with division of areas of responsibility, acquaintances for further collaboration, co-creation, friendship between houses and countries, good neighborliness, the ability to delegate authority, the desire to do everything dreamed up today.”

Project participants presented their projects. Following the results of two days of the International Educational Forum, 10 finalists will be selected - teams from rural areas who will go on an internship to the Nizhny Novgorod region to find resources for replicating and scaling the practice, creating network cultural initiatives.
