The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly held an Online Conference with Representatives of the Association of Arab Graduates of Soviet and Russian Universities

On 4 July 2023, the headquarters of the Eurasia Peoples Assembly hosted a meeting with representatives of the Association of Arab Graduates of Soviet and Russian Universities in an online conference format.

The Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly was represented by the Deputy Secretary General Yulia Petrova, Head of the Department of Sustainable Development Dr. Yaser Allaham, Head of the Department of International Education and Partnership Development Alana Kochieva and Chief Specialist of the Department of Sustainable Development Stanislav Olenin.

During the meeting Yulia Petrova made a welcoming speech and thanked her colleagues for active cooperation with the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly. Also, she confirmed the readiness and interest of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly in opening representative offices in Arab countries, which can serve to expand partnership and strengthen cooperation between countries. This corresponds to the goals and objectives of the United Nations and UNESCO.

Dr. Yaser Allaham, on his part, announced the joint development of a roadmap for the opening and functioning of representative offices in the Arab countries and agreed the programs of planned activities.

The foreign partners supported the proposals initiated by the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly unanimously. President of the Association Dr. Tony Maluf expressed his full support for the activities of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, which meets the universal principles of friendship and good neighborliness between countries. He also expressed readiness to personally assist in opening representative offices and involve partners for comprehensive support.

The adoption of the Charter of the Association of Arab Alumni of Russian and Soviet Universities became an important outcome of the meeting. It marked the beginning of a great journey to strengthen partnerships and ties in various spectrums of international activities.
