The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly and the NGO "Abkhazia-Eurasia Way to Partnership" signed a Memorandum of Cooperation and Interaction

On July 6, in Moscow (Russia), a memorandum of cooperation and interaction was signed between the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations "Eurasian Peoples' Assembly" and the Public Organization "Abkhazia-Eurasia Way to Partnership".

The memorandum was signed by the Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Andrey Belyaninov and the Chairman of the NGO "Abkhazia-Eurasia Way to Partnership" Astamur Akhsalba.

In an effort to provide each other with wider assistance, using the unique integration potential of people's diplomacy, a system of equal international partnership, exchange of experience and dialogue, the parties agreed to carry out interaction aimed at deepening partnership between the peoples of different countries; increasing the role of public diplomacy in ensuring trust and mutual understanding between states; development of international relations aimed at supporting public, state, peacekeeping initiatives; joint implementation of socially significant programs, projects and cultural and educational events in international cooperation.

Joint activities will be carried out, in particular, in the following areas: promoting the development of versatile international relations based on business cooperation and cultural values; exchange of experience on the introduction of new formats of interaction between non-governmental organizations, civil society institutions; organizational and information support; scientific and educational, economic, sports, cultural and humanitarian, tourism cooperation.
