Eurasia Peoples Assembly supported the International Martial Arts Spartakiada Competition

Ufa is preparing to host the All-Russian mas-wrestling competition, which will be held on December 16 at the R.A. Batalova Sports Training Center of the Republic of Bashkortostan. This event will be included in the program of the International Martial Arts Spartakiada.
Young athletes from all over the country will compete in the categories of boys and girls aged 16-17, as well as in adult men and women. Participants will demonstrate their strength, agility and technique in mas-wrestling - an ancient sport that embodies competition and the spirit of struggle.
The organizers of the Martial Arts competition are the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the All-Russian Mas-Wrestling Federation, the Mas-Wrestling Federation of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Union of Martial Arts. The competition is held with the support of the Republican Representation of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly.
“The Representative Office of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly supports sport and its development as a means of promoting a healthy lifestyle, strengthening the national spirit and improving intercultural understanding. As part of its activities, the Assembly actively supports sporting events and initiatives at the regional and international level,” - said Dmitry Trapeznikov, Executive Secretary of the Representative Office of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly in Bashkortostan.
“Mas-wrestling is the cultural and sporting heritage of our ancestors and has a long history. We strive not only to create conditions for the development of talented athletes, but also to promote mas-wrestling as an attractive and popular discipline for young people,” - said Rail Bikmaev, President of the Mas-Wrestling Federation of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
