EURASDIA KIDS and the Guild of Cinema Actors of Russia signed a Cooperation Agreement

ANO EURASDIA KIDS is expanding the circle of its partners in social activities. The Guild of Russian Cinema Actors has become a new partner of the organization. The President of the Guild is an actor, director, People's Artist of Russia Sergei Petrovich Nikonenko.

Cooperation between the two organizations began several years ago. Famous actors come annually as active participants to the “Sunflower” International Festival of Family Media Creativity. Among the guests were People's Artist Lyudmila Khityaeva, Honored Artist of Russia Yuri Sherstnev, actress Tatyana Sudets, actors and TV presenters Arkady Sharogradsky and Alexey Samoletov, People's Artist of Russia, President of the Guild of Russian Cinema Actors Sergei Nikonenko.

Recall, in 2018 the delegation of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly became a guest of the festival. Then the festival participants took the initiative to create a humanitarian project “EURADIA KIDS.” The Assembly supported this idea. The “EURADIA KIDS” project today unites children in different countries and has its own media mentors who help children learn about the lives of children and adults in different countries.

“The Guild of Cinema Actors of Russia” is a professional union of film actors of the Russian Federation. The Guild was established on December 5, 1988 as the “Guild of Soviet Cinema Actors” (GASK). Nowadays it is the Interregional public organization Guild of Russian Cinema Actors. In 2000, the Guild of Cinema Actors of St. Petersburg and the Guild of Cinema Actors of the Republic of Belarus became part of the Guild of Russian Cinema Actors. Members of the Guild live in different cities of Russia and CIS countries.

“Today it is necessary to introduce children to the best examples of Eurasian cinema. And in this we are helped by actors who are famous throughout the world for their work. Familiarity with good literature, careful attitude to creativity - this is what the Guild can teach. The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly and the Guild have a special attitude to children and their upbringing. Our plans include creative meetings and interesting projects,”- notes Olga Chirkova, director of the EURASIA KIDS ANO.

The agreement was signed by the Executive Director of the Guild of Cinema Actors of Russia, Valeria Gushchina, and the Director of the ANO “EURASDIA KIDS”, Olga Chirkova.
