As part of the II World Congress of Russian-speaking psychotherapists and psychologists held on November 5, 2023 in Moscow, there was held a symposium dedicated to the influence of gender as a system on the life of modern man.

The scientific meeting was organized by the Council for the Preservation and Development of Kin Culture of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly together with the Dokuchaev Academy of Rodology. The Specialized Council of the Assembly is headed by the President of the International League of Professional Rhodologists, professor of the Academy of Rodology, expert on family law of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, member of the scientific and methodological council of the Russian Academy of Education, president of the public foundation “Family-XXI Century” Larisa Dokuchaeva.

The main tasks of the Assembly Council are the preservation and development of the kin culture of the peoples of Eurasia in order to form a Eurasian identity while preserving national identity to preserve peace and harmony on the Eurasian continent. The First Deputy Secretary General - Head of the General Secretariat of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, Svetlana Smirnova, addressed the scientists, experts, and public figures in a video greeting. She noted the importance of the questions raised by rodologists.

“The current stage of development of society is characterized by rapid growth of changes in all spheres. Humanity has entered a qualitatively new state, with complex contradictions. This is especially noticeable in the value system, which is directly reflected in a person’s family life, in his family ties and relationships.

In the family, the foundation of personality is laid, its facets are honed. Intrafamily relationships cannot but worry society and require scientific research and professional attention.

The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly considers supporting the institution of family one of the most important public tasks. Among the first councils of the Assembly in 2017, the Council for the Preservation and Development of Kin Culture with Larisa Dokuchaeva at the head, was established. Today we have established the ANO “Eurasian Center for Support of the Institute of Family and Family Values.” The organization initiates and develops projects aimed at preserving family traditions and customs of different nations, link between generations, and strengthening the spiritual and moral foundations of family and marriage. Our new initiative is the International Project “Happy Children – Happy Family – Happy Country – Happy World”. All these areas require broad support from the scientific and expert community.”

First Deputy Secretary General - Head of the General Secretariat of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Svetlana Smirnova expressed confidence that the symposium of rodologists will be followed by specific proposals and recommendations, new forms and methods that will help unite the peoples of Eurasia in an effort to preserve and strengthen peace and harmony in every family, the same way all over the world.
