Russkiy Mir: Marathon «Actual Russia» in South Korea

The marathon “Actual Russia” is being held in South Korea, the website of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly reports.

On the first day of the marathon, Mikhail Fedorov, Deputy Head of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly delivered a lecture for young people from South Korea who are going to work in Russia. He told the youth what basic professional knowledge is in demand today and how the competence of a modern specialist is formed.

Remind, the marathon is aimed at teachers of the Russian language and translators, as well as those who are interested in the Russian language and plan to enter educational institutions in Russia.

A series of events are held to improve the level of training specialists in South Korea, whose professional activities are related to the Russian language. The marathon is also intended to popularize the Russian language among young people in South Korea. For three days, the participants will receive master classes and lectures from Russian teachers and methodologists, as well as translation masters.

As Russkiy Mir reported, earlier in December, the “Actual Russia” marathon was held in the Balkans. It was organized by the Russian Humanitarian Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina. On the eve of the marathon, an essay competition “Russian Language of Friendship” was held.
