On February 20, 2024, in Baku will host a round table which will discuss the role of public diplomacy in the development of Russian-Azerbaijani relations. The event is supported by the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly.

Public diplomacy increasingly establishes itself as a dynamic sphere of world politics and plays a significant role in ensuring trust and mutual understanding between states and peoples.

Using the language of public diplomacy, it is easier to build bridges of mutual understanding, relying on deep roots and national traditions. Its effective implementation is intended to humanize international relations, since the multifaceted interaction of civil societies and cultures is the basis of diplomatic relations and friendship between peoples.

The emerging multipolar world must become a world of universal human unity, where the main people are the custodians of unshakable spiritual and moral values common to all humanity.

We need common international efforts in public diplomacy, which unites public opinion leaders, public experts, representatives of the cultural and humanitarian sphere and the business community, all people who care about the fate of the world.
Thanks to broad public participation, international discussion, and the search for common points of view, an initial comprehension takes place, allowing for the further formation of concepts and provisions acceptable to all mankind.
