On the eve of the International Caspian Digital Forum in Dagestan, the RBC South and North Caucasus Media Group visited the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly to talk with the Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Andrei Belianinov.

The Caspian Forum will be devoted to the issues of building a digital ecosystem around the North-South transport corridor. It will bring together representatives of the countries of the Caspian region on one venue. The work will go beyond standard panel discussions and dry exchange of opinions. Participants will enjoy active practice in groups at strategic sessions. The concept of the forum was developed by the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia, industry federal executive authorities, the Government of the Republic of Dagestan and a subsidiary of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly ANO “Laboratory of Digital Transformation”.

According to Andrei Belianinov, the forum may result in the definition of steps to create common standards for information exchange and encryption, approaches to personnel training, environmental safety regulations, planning of logistics flows and loading of transport infrastructure, a unified database of knowledge, technological solutions and regulatory documents from each country participating in the project, which can be effectively applied in the framework of the project implementation.

Editor-in-Chief of the RBC South and North Caucasus Media Group Irina Silantyeva noted that the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly and the Secretary General personally approach the implementation of the international project “North-South” very deeply and competently, accurately identify problems and offer a specific vision for their solution.

An interview with Andrey Belianinov will be published on the resources of the RBC South and North Caucasus Media Group on the eve of the Caspian Forum, which is scheduled for November 16-17.
