ANO “Laboratory of Digital Transformation” (LDT), established by the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, continues to expand the package of agreements with partners on the development of management competencies based on big data. In Moscow, on the sidelines of the Digital Economy Forum, at the stand of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, an agreement on information exchange and joint activities was signed between the Ministry of Digital Development of the region and LCT.

On behalf of the President of Russia, a new national project on the data economy should be developed this year; it will replace the “Digital Economy”. This agreement is aimed precisely at organizing information exchange regarding the use of data in the public administration sector.

In the various government information systems that are used today by authorities, a large amount of data has been accumulated, which today can be summarized, analyzed, systematized, integrated, on the basis of which forecasting models can be built, management decisions can be adjusted, and the effectiveness of government measures can be determined.

According to the director of the Digital Transformation Laboratory, Pavel Basin, more than 40 similar agreements have already been signed with the authorities of Russian regions. Work in this area will make the activities of public administration more efficient.

To work with data, it is planned to create automated models (algorithms) that will allow better quality work with big data, create a unified mechanism for collecting, consolidating and accessing government data, develop the necessary software for this, build processes for developing artificial intelligence algorithms, etc. All this should help strengthen and improve the socio-economic indicators and quality of life of citizens.

Nikolai Raspopin, Minister of Digital Development of the Krasnoyarsk Territory: “I am confident that within the concluded agreement we will be able to organize fruitful work in this direction. In the first half of 2024, ANO “LDT” will hold a seminar for sectoral executive authorities of the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory as part of the preparation of Russian regions to implement the activities of the new national project.”
