The world-wide coronavirus pandemic has affected events marking the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory over fascism. They will be held later. And today we can unite and congratulate our dear veterans and remember all those who died on the Second World War fronts, giving their lives for us. We know about that war from the stories of veterans, books of memories, feature films and, of course, from songs. “Victory day”, “Katyusha”, “Dark Night”, “Cranes” and hundreds of other songs about the war are loved all over the world and are performed not only in Russian, but also in many foreign languages.
The Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly invites you to participate in events dedicated to the celebration of Victory and honoring veterans. In the year of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Second World War, the International Marathon “Songs of the Great Victory” starts. #ВеликиеПесниВеликойПобеды #GreatVictorySongs
Professional musicians and amateurs from different countries will perform famous songs associated with the Victory in the Great Patriotic War in their national languages or in Russian language, as well as their national songs related to the Second World War.
Everyone can take part in the Marathon by recording his performance on video (it can be your Smartphone camera, camera, video camera).
