The International Charity Regatta of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly gathered over 300 Participants from 10 Countries of the World

The International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations "Eurasian Peoples' Assembly" gathered more than 300 participants from 10 countries of the world for the first International Charity Inclusive Regatta "STRONG PEOPLE OF THE WORLD - SPECIAL CHILDREN", which took place this weekend in the waters of the Pirogov Reservoir at the Berezki yacht club.

The main participants of the regatta were international inclusive crews. The teams represented Abkhazia, Belarus, Egypt, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Nigeria, Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan.

“This is a big step towards expanding cultural contacts between the countries of Eurasia, strengthening communications between peoples, establishing good human communication through sports games and competitions. We regard the regatta as an important contribution to strengthening the unity of the peoples of Eurasia and the single Eurasian space, creating conditions for its cultural progress,” - noted Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly Andrei Belianinov in his welcoming speech.

In continuation of the regatta, the International Round Table “Development of Folk Sailing in the Countries of Eurasia” was held at the yacht club. Its participants, the yachtsmen, came up with the initiative to create an International Inclusive Social Movement “Inclusive Sails of Eurasia” under the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly.

“Belarus and China have expressed particular interest in the development of this movement and its promotion in their countries. In continuation of our cooperation, the delegation from Belarus also proposed to hold the International Days of Happiness on their site in December,” noted Marina Volkova, head of the Happiness Department of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, summing up the outcomes of the regatta.

Andrei Belyaninov proposed making the International Charity Regatta an annual event and including national water sports in the International Sports Games of National and Non-Olympic Sports “Towards the Eurasiada” in 2024.

The international charity inclusive regatta “STRONG PEOPLE OF THE WORLD – FOR SPECIAL CHILDREN” was organized jointly with the Charitable Foundations “Give Love to the World” and “Give Good to the World”, the All-Russian public movement “Inclusive Sails of Russia”, the magazine “Aggregator of Happiness”, the yacht club “Beryozki” " and the All-Russian public organization "The Strongest Nation in the World."
