Family Values as a basis for Socio-Cultural Integration of Eurasian Peoples will be Discussed at a Round Table at the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly

On March 28, 2024, a round table on the topic “Family values as the basis for the socio-cultural integration of the peoples of Eurasia” will be held at the headquarters of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly in Moscow. The organizers are the Institute of Demographic Research of the Federal Research Sociological Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations "Eurasian Peoples' Assembly", ANO "Eurasian Center for Family Values" with the support of the scientific council "Socio-political and demographic problems of the formation of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) "at the Department of Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The main goal of the dialogue is to promote the unification of the efforts of researchers, analysts and practitioners whose activities are related to the topic of values as the basis for the socio-cultural integration of the peoples of Eurasia; promoting the maintenance and preservation of family values of the peoples of Eurasia; establishing international dialogue between generations through socio-cultural integration.
Experts from Kazakhstan, Italy, the Kyrgyz Republic and Russia will make presentations at the round table in online and offline formats. Participants will raise the topic of preserving family values and talk about the features and trends in the formation of values and value orientations of the population of Eurasian countries.

The round table will be moderated by: Marina Volkova, Head of the Department of Happiness of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, Director of the ANO "Eurasian Center for Family Values" and Victoria Ledeneva, chief researcher at the Institute of Demographic Research of the Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Sociological Sciences, Professor.

• The influence of the host country on the values of migrants from Eurasia Minor.
• Family, children and older people in the changing value system of modern Eurasian youth.
• Value bases and potential of public organizations to solve demographic and migration problems in Eurasian countries.
• Values as a resource for socio-cultural integration of the Eurasian peoples.
• Promising trajectories of cross-border and interregional interaction based on Eurasian and national values.

The round table “Family values as the basis for the socio-cultural integration of the peoples of Eurasia” will be held as part of the X International Scientific and Practical Conference “Value Foundations of Integration Processes in Eurasia”
