The first international fidgetal tournament “Games of the Future - 2024” has ended in the capital of Tatarstan. The event combined the real and virtual worlds and presented an innovative approach to sports and e-sports tournaments. The “Games of the Future” aroused wide interest: more than 2,000 participants came to Kazan and formed 294 teams. Spectators from more than 100 countries watched the competition at the intersection of traditional and e-sports.

The tournament was attended by about 70 officials - from the Minister of Sports of Cuba to the Minister of Education of the UAE. Many foreign journalists worked at the site, mainly from Asian and African countries.

The “Aggregator of Happiness” magazine of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly also received accreditation as a media outlet for the physical tournament. The Head of the Department of Happiness of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, Marina Volkova presented the international action “Letters of Happiness”, as well as, the festival “The World Draws Happiness” at the “Games of the Future 2024”.

In front of the participants and guests, the Assembly expert spoke about the history of the creation of postcards with drawings personifying happiness, which formed the basis of the “Letters of Happiness” action. The project has existed for four years now. Its goal is to attract the attention of children and adults around the globe to peace, to ensure happiness on Earth.

Touching postcards with children's drawings are received by people in different parts of the world: Australia, South Korea, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, India.

“The moment when the recipient receives letters of happiness is very exciting and, undoubtedly, happy. We invite everyone to remember the good tradition of sending handwritten mail, which brought joy to loved ones,” - said Marina Volkova, “When you share happiness, there is more of it. And happy people are unlikely to want to start quarrels and be at enmity with each other. One would ask, what can a small postcard or letter do? But believe me, even a small wish for happiness can do a lot,” the head of the Happiness Department of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly is convinced.

She told that at the presentation of the “Letters of Happiness” Action at the “Future Games 2024” the participants made wishes, chose the offered postcards as gifts, and then shared them a day later - the wish came true! “This is the way a positive attitude and intercultural interaction work,” noted Marina Volkova, “Everyone has their own idea of happiness: family, the smiles of loved ones, the nature of their native land, friends, animals, the multinational world... But all these together creates a unique wave that carries a person in the flow positive and then everything will come true.”

According to the head of the Department of Happiness of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, participation in such international events allows us to expand the communication platform for the implementation of public diplomacy and intercultural communication projects. Marina Volkova invited everyone to become participants in another unique project - the International Inclusive Creative Festival “The World Draws Happiness”. The festival is held in online and offline formats in the countries of Eurasia (http://eurasia-assembly.org/ru/mezhdunarodnyy-inklyuzivnyy-tvorcheskiy-f...). Participants can send their drawings, crafts and essays on the topic of happiness. Postcards - “Letters of happiness” - will be printed from these drawings.

Speaking about the most vivid impression of working on phygital - the tournament in Kazan, Marina Volkova shared: having received a postcard with a warm children's drawing as a gift, one African boy pressed it to his heart and said: “This will be the best gift for my mother.” Happiness consists of little things.
