Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly intends to open a Representative Office in Kuwait

The headquarters of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in Moscow was visited by the official representative of the State of Kuwait for public diplomacy, public figure - His Excellency Sheikh Naif Al Muhana Al-Adwani. The Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Andrey Belyaninov met with the guest.

According to the sheikh, the tasks that the national working group on public diplomacy, headed by him, works on are expanding and strengthening relationships in various fields, in particular economic, political and scientific; improving communication skills and strengthening interaction between countries.

“Our main values are to invest in the development of public diplomacy. We are looking for ways to strengthen ties between countries through public diplomacy,” noted His Excellency Sheikh Naif Al Muhana Al-Adwani. “Our goals are to strengthen communication and dialogue platforms, as well as focusing on the scientific and educational sphere.”

One of the main goals of the visit is to determine a plan for interaction with the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly for the next 5 years.

“One of the important issues that we talked about was the opening of the Representative Office of the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations “Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly” in the State of Kuwait. This is very good. This will allow us to work productively together in public diplomacy, as well as in business,” said Assembly Secretary General Andrei Belyaninov.

The Kuwaiti side intends to take part in the Public Diplomacy Forum, organized by the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly between April 21-25, 2024 in the United Arab Emirates.

In its turn, the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly will take part in events in Kuwait next year. The Arab League has designated Kuwait as the cultural capital of the Arab World for 2025.
