The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly and the International Research Center of the Second World War in the city of Maribor signed a Cooperation Agreement

On March 23, the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations "Eurasian Peoples' Assembly" and the International Research Center of the Second World War in the city of Maribor (IRC "Maribor") signed a cooperation agreement at the Assembly headquarters in Moscow.

The agreement was signed by the Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Andrey Belyaninov and the General Director of the IRC "Maribor" Janez Uychich.

Under the agreement, the parties plan to hold joint bilateral and multilateral events, develop and implement educational programs, assist in the improvement of long-term and comprehensive scientific ties between organizations from different countries on the principles of reciprocity, and participate in joint practical projects.

IRC "Maribor" is one of the most recognizable projects of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Slovenia in historical and memorial terms. The establishment of the IRC was approved in July 2016 by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. The IRC began its work in November 2017. The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly
