Director of the ANO Laboratory of Digital Transformation Pavel Basin moderated the strategic session on shaping the digital agenda of the XV International IT Forum with the participation of the BRICS and SCO countries. The laboratory was established by the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly.
This year the forum was included in the event plan of Russia's BRICS chairmanship. It will take place in Khanty-Mansiysk from June 18 to 20, 2024.
The discussion was attended by experts from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia, the Analytical Center for the Government of the Russian Federation, the Russian Committee of the Information for All Program, the Belarusian Republican Unitary Enterprise "Center for Digital Development", the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia, as well as members of the Organizing Committee of the IT Forum from Ugra.
It is expected that the large-scale event will become a platform for establishing interregional and international connections with partners from the BRICS and SCO countries and for the exchange of advanced IT solutions and practices that can improve the quality of life of people.
During the meeting, new formats of cooperation were discussed, as well as topics that will be discussed at the Ugra forum. The proposals made will be taken into account in the creation of its digital agenda. Experts noted the effectiveness of multilateral interaction and it is planned to continue meetings of this format in the future. The participants identified the results that must be achieved at the end of the forum for successful international interaction.
Following the event, a memorandum was signed between the republican unitary enterprise “Center for Digital Development” and the organization of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly for promoting the development of the digital economy “The Laboratory of Digital Transformation”, which is a strategic partner of the forum.
