On Tuesday, January 23, 2024, the delegation of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly visited the Al-Mahalla spinning and weaving company, which is one of the largest industrial companies operating in spinning and weaving in the Middle East and in the world.
Assembly experts met with engineer Ahmed Abdel Rahman Badr, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al-Mahalla Spinning and Weaving Company. The parties discussed methods for the mutually beneficial development of trade union and professional relations between similar companies in Eurasian countries.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Nour Nada, representative of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in Cairo; Dr. Yaser Alaham, Head of the Department for Development of International Education and Partnership of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, official representative of Arab relations in the Eurasian Union; Representative in the Egyptian Parliament from El-Mahalla El-Kubra, Mr. Ahmed Bilal; Mr. Kamal Hosni Ibrahim, Director of International Relations of the Egyptian Parliament and Mr. Mahmoud Al-Melegi, one of the leaders of the pharmaceutical sector of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The experts’ visit to the spinning and weaving company took place as part of a three-day working visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt by the delegation of the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations “Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly” headed by Secretary General Andrei Belyaninov. On January 21 - 23, experts held a series of meetings with colleagues and partners from Arab countries in the capital of Egypt, Cairo.
