“The world belongs to me a whole century.

I'll be in it in thought and word

To feel what man can do.

And in each day, the only and new,

I'll find the power of being again,

I'll find myself in myself and above me -

In the movement of the waters, in the burning of the fire.

And in the revelations of thought and peace,

In all that is, that breathes and lives,

Where every day is an eternity and a road,

And all that is, Earth and Sky.

The world belongs to me. It is a gift from God.”

Alexandra Ochirova.
From the book of poems "And Every Day is in the Singular", 2023.

Alexandra Ochirova's poems have been translated into many languages: Arabic, English, French, Bulgarian, languages of the peoples of Russia and others. But the author read her poems about the meaning of life, about the Motherland, about the beloved Persian Gulf in Russian, the language "in which she thinks and lives".

This evening Alexandra Ochirova revealed herself not only as a serious thinker and patriot, but also as a subtle lyricist. Especially expressively it was shown by the songs written on her poems.

Vocal ensemble "Victory" sang tender and lyrical, filled with deep meanings "Stalingrad Square in Paris". Mahmoud Ahmed from Egypt, a 1st year student of the Faculty of Economics and Management, recited a poem "My Horizons" in Arabic and Russian. The audience heard one of the most touching songs "To My Daughter" by Alexandra Ochirova performed by the 2nd year student of the Faculty of Economics and Management Saouat Taha from the Kingdom of Morocco. Daniil Pryazhentsev, a 4th year student of the Faculty of Customs Affairs and Information Technologies, performed a poignant, powerful and topical poem "Where should I put a candle for Russia, so that God would hear us and forgive us...". It was supported by a magnificent performance of "Requiem" by Elizaveta Trukhacheva.

At the end of the meeting Rector of BUKEP, Doctor of Economics, Professor Elena Isaenko spoke:

"Alexandra Vasilievna, we know you as a statesman and public figure who makes a great contribution to strengthening the image of Russia abroad. And today we have a unique opportunity to get acquainted with you as a talented poet. Thank you for your talent!"

Alexandra Vasilyevna donated collections of her poems to the university.

A meeting with true poetry is always a holiday. It is always a discovery, cognition of new things, and often a feeling of oneself in another, a response of one's feelings, moods, worldview. It is happiness, when through poetry we become closer, learn beauty from each other, learn to love and cherish this world. It was just the meeting with a true poet and human being that took place. Just such a meeting - with a true poet and man - took place. The performance of a song "We wish you happiness!" became a warm, touching finale of such a heartfelt meeting.
