Accepting Applications for the International Competition “LEADER OF PEOPLE’S DIPLOMACY”-2023 Extended until September 25

The Organizing Committee of the II International Competition "LEADER OF PEOPLE'S DIPLOMACY" - 2023 announces the extension of the deadline for accepting applications until September 25 inclusive.

Participants from Armenia, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, UAE, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan have already applied for participation in the competition.

In connection with the problems that arise during the authorization process on the site at some foreign participants, it was decided to simplify the procedure for applying.

Now you can send documents to the competition email public-diplomacy@mail.ru, attaching an application and recommendation files in pdf format, or use the form on the website http://народнаядипломатия.рф/o-nas/priem and send documents without authorization.

The competition is open to citizens of the Russian Federation, compatriots living abroad, foreign citizens - representatives of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), Internet communities implementing projects in peoples’ diplomacy, whose activities do not contradict Russian legislation, over the age of 18, having experience in implementing projects in peoples’ diplomacy as a leader for at least two years. Leaders of NGOs implementing projects in people’s diplomacy should not be state or municipal employees.

No later than October 1, the Competition Commission will review the applications and letters of recommendation submitted by the participants and will invite everyone who has passed the qualifying stage to participate in the educational intensive, which will last until October 10.

100 contestants will advance to the semi-finals of the competition. On October 17 - 31 an online workshop will be held for semi-finalists (completing practical tasks, solving practical cases).

30 people will reach the finals, where the winners of the competition - leaders of public diplomacy - will be determined.

The final of the competition will be held in Perm in December 2023. The organizers of the competition will cover travel and accommodation costs for the finalists.

The winners of the competition are awarded gold badges with the symbols of the competition; prizewinners - silver and bronze badges with the competition symbols. The winners and prizewinners are awarded competition diplomas, letters of gratitude from the organizers and partners, as well as valuable prizes from the competition sponsors.
