The VI All-Russian Investment Sabantuy “Trans-Urals” will become a platform for discussing the prospects for the development of adaptive sports. As part of the investment sabantuy, a master class and conference on the topic “Adaptive sports as a factor in the rehabilitation of military personnel” are planned. It will take place at the Sibay Institute (branch) of the Ufa University of Science and Technology (UUS&T).
The organizers of the event are the Administration of Sibay, the Bashkir Institute of Physical Culture (a branch of UralSUFC), the Sibay Institute of UUS&T with the support of the Representative Office of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in Bashkortostan and the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
“The development of mass parasports is one of the priorities within the state program “Accessible Environment,” noted the director of the Bashkir Institute of Physical Culture, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Liliya Makina. “Adaptive sports require attention and consolidation of efforts from government, business and society.”
According to her, Bashkortostan has positive experience in the development of adaptive physical culture and adaptive sports. On the basis of the Bashkir Institute of Physical Culture, over 2,000 specialists in adaptive physical culture have been trained, 2 doctoral and 14 candidate dissertations have been defended in this area. To date, the Institute has developed advanced projects on adaptive physical culture and sports, such as the AFC Festival “Start with Yourself!”, the inclusive sports project “Together as Equals”, “For Movement!” and others who have repeatedly received grant support.
Representatives of the authorities, public organizations, specialists in adaptive physical education: coaches, methodologists, teachers, researchers, students will take part in the master class. Participants will be able to experience adaptive sports such as sitting volleyball, wheelchair boccia, wheelchair darts and electronic sound gun shooting.
The All-Russian Investment Sabantuy “Trans-Urals-2024” will be held in Sibay from May 24 to May 26, 2024. More than 20 sessions are planned, which will be devoted to the development of tourism infrastructure in the Trans-Ural region and the creation of the Ural SEZ. In addition, issues of developing public-private partnerships, training of qualified personnel, artificial intelligence, data economics and others will be discussed at the Invest Sabantuy site.

The All-Russian Investment Sabantuy “Trans-Urals” is an international platform for business discussions. Every year, delegations from different countries take part in it, including China, Iran, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, India and Italy.
The event is organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
