
This week the Third International Altai Forum will take place in Gorno-Altaisk. It is organized by the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly and the Government of the Altai Republic under the auspices of the vector of development of Eurasian integration. The main topics of the forum, held with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives, are devoted to the development of interethnic and interreligious harmony at a unique point of contact and interpenetration of the history, culture and traditions of peoples. This is all Altai.
The central theme of the forum - “The Altai vector of Eurasian integration: in the interests of strengthening interethnic and interreligious harmony” - represents many complex integration scientific and social issues that will be discussed at meetings in Gorno-Altaisk on June 21-22. It is these complex tasks that set the main areas for the development of the Eurasian and African Peoples’ Assembly.
The opening of the forum is attended by the Secretary General of the Assembly Andrei Belyaninov, Acting Head of the Republic Andrei Turchak, Chairman of the State Assembly - El Kurultai of the Republic Artur Kokhoev. The central integration event in the capital of a unique region at the junction of the Russian, Kazakh and Mongolian borders is opened by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Russian Federation Ulziysaikhan Enkhtuvshin, the outstanding Turkologist and representative of the Government of the Russian Federation Fedor Chernitsyn and the Chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots Leonid Kalashnikov.
Within the III International Altai Forum, there will be discussions held in the format of round tables, revealing the multifaceted humanitarian aspects of Eurasian integration. New meanings and trends of social and cultural indicators in models of the modern world order in the discourse of public and cultural diplomacy will be discussed in the framework of dialogues moderated by the Deputy Secretary General of the Eurasian and African Peoples' Assembly, professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Yulia Petrova.
The speakers of this meeting are Co-Chairman of the General Council of the Eurasian and African Peoples' Assembly, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, Doctor of Philosophy, poetess Alexandra Ochirova, member of the State Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO, Executive Secretary of the Russian Commission for UNESCO Grigory Ordzhonikidze, founder and head of the non-governmental organization "Renaissance Française" Zoya Arrignon, representatives of the countries of the European Union, the League of Arab States and other countries near and far abroad.
