BISHKEK, 25 August. /TASS/. Participants of the youth forum of the CIS countries and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will discuss issues of strengthening cooperation in the Eurasian space. The forum opens on Thursday in the city of Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan. This was reported to TASS in the press service of the Kyrgyz government.
"The cultural center "Rukh Ordo" in the city of Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan, on August 25-26, 2022, will host the youth forum of the CIS and the EAEU" Kelechek "(Future"), timed to coincide with the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council. The forum will be attended by more than 200 delegates - young entrepreneurs, civil servants, representatives of creative youth, young diplomats, students from the EAEU and CIS countries," - the representative of the Cabinet said.
According to him, within the forum, it is planned to conduct trainings and master classes for young entrepreneurs, as well as discussions in the sections "Young leaders of the CIS and the EAEU. Prospects for the formation of a youth personnel reserve", "CIS, the EAEU and Iran - paradigms for the development of cooperation in Eurasia", "International Youth Cooperation in the CIS: Perspectives for Youth", "Opportunities for Economic Integration for Youth Entrepreneurship in the CIS and the EAEU" and "The Role of Venture Capital Investors, Business Accelerators and Business Angels in the Development of Youth Entrepreneurship in the CIS and the EAEU".
The main task of the forum is to develop cooperation and popularize the idea of Eurasian integration. "The forum is aimed at expanding the interaction of young people, creating new opportunities for the implementation of initiatives, social and professional self-realization of the younger generation," - the Cabinet said.
During the forum, young people are also expected to meet with Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Mikhail Myasnikovich and Chairman of the Executive Committee - CIS Executive Secretary Sergei Lebedev. The speakers of the event include the Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan Azamat Zhamankulov, the Minister for Integration and Macroeconomics of the EEC Sergey Glazyev, the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Dmitry Volvach and the Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Andrey Belyaninov.
The forum will take place simultaneously with the meeting in Cholpon-Ata of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, which will also be attended by the Head of the Russian government, Mikhail Mishustin.
