Svetlana Smirnova: "The Happiness of Every Family Determines the Happiness of the Whole World”

On May 9, First Deputy Secretary General - Head of the General Secretariat of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Svetlana Smirnova sent a video greeting to the organizers and participants of the XXI International Congress "Russian Family in Everyday Life: Horizons of Prosperity".

The Congress is organized by the National Public Committee "Russian Family" and the Russian State Social University under the support of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

Svetlana Smirnova noted the importance of forums dedicated to the family and family values, and thanked Galina Klimantova, a Russian scientist, politician, Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the first convocation, doctor of political sciences, professor, Russian State Councilor of the 3rd class, for organizing such events.

“At the present stage, there is no need to talk about the importance of the family, about the preservation of family values. All life pushes us and shows us that we need to return to our roots, to the foundation of our society, the basis of which is the family. It is the family where the culture and traditions of the peoples of Eurasia are preserved. Family is a place you want to come back to, it's home, it's children, it's husband, it's mother, it's grandmother, it's grandfather, it's all the things that bring out the best in each of us and that accompany us throughout our lives.

One of the main activities of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly is the preservation of family, traditional family values. We have a Department of Happiness, a number of projects have been created and are being implemented by it, such as “The World Draws Happiness”, “A Fairy Tale in Each of Us” and others. Now we are starting a new project - "Happy Family - Happy Country - Happy World". The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly is a founder of the ANO "Development of the Family and Family Values".

I wish all of us, all the participants in the congress, that all the achievements and all the good things that will be heard at the congress today will be in demand and implemented. And, of course, it is vital for all the peoples of Greater Eurasia that the family occupies an important place in every country, in every corner of our big or maybe small planet Earth, because happiness in every family determines the happiness of the whole world".
