On Wednesday, March 23, a Round Table was held at the Sputnik Belarus multimedia press center on the topic: "No statute of limitations. On the inadmissibility of the rehabilitation of Nazism in Belarus and Russia."

Within the event, the presentation of the publication "The Last Chance for Justice. Fundamentals of the Legal Prosecution of Nazi Criminals from Latvia" took place.

The Great Patriotic War ended almost 80 years ago. But Nazi atrocities have no statute of limitations. The Historical Memory Foundation is working to identify data on living former members of the SS legion in order to identify among them persons involved in war crimes and the genocide of the Soviet people on the territory of Belarus and Russia.

The Foundation has identified more than 150 SS legionnaires hiding from fair retribution in the USA, Great Britain, Austria, New Zealand and Latin America. The list of Nazi criminals is presented in the publication and handed over to the law enforcement agencies of Russia and Belarus.
