It is noted that due to the lack of state guarantees, the investment attractiveness of the country suffered.
BISHKEK, December 7 - Sputnik. Kyrgyzstan will start to give state guarantees to investors, Andrey Belyaninov, Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, said referring to the Head of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov.
Belyaninov gave a comment to radio Sputnik Kyrgyzstan at the Bishkek Investment Summit.
“It is very pleasant to hear from the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan that the Ministry of Finance began to issue guarantees. This is what many governments of the republic struggled for. The country’s investment attractiveness suffered greatly from the fact that there were no state guarantees. If this mechanism works – there are several state-owned companies mentioned through which the mechanism will be implemented - the economy of Kyrgyzstan can get good development," - Belyaninov said.
