June 18, 2021, the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly together with the International Association “Peace through Culture. Europe ”organized and held a round table “Eurasia in Dialogue: Presentation of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly”.
The purpose of the round table is to strengthen contacts and partnerships in the international sphere to expand cooperation among the peoples of Europe.
Moderators were: Svetlana SMIRNOVA, First Deputy Secretary General - Head of the General Secretariat of the Eurasian Peoples 'Assembly, Chairman of the Council of the Russian Peoples' Assembly, member of the Presidential Council for Interethnic Relations, Liz AUGUSTAT, First Vice President of the International Association “Peace through Culture. Europe"(Austria), Marco VUKOVIC, Vice-President of the International Association “Peace through Culture. Europe” (Germany).
The meeting was attended by members of the General Secretariat of the Assembly, members of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and their public partners.
The experience of implementing significant projects on expanding cooperation in the Eurasian space was discussed. The European participants introduced the work of their organizations. Irina I. POLYAKOVA, Deputy Head of the General Secretariat of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly for cultural and humanitarian cooperation, Larisa A. TRUNINA, Deputy Head of the General Secretariat of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly for organizational activities, spoke about the Assembly’s activity.
The meeting was greeted by: Wilhelm AUGUSTAT, Co-Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, President of the International Association "Peace through Culture. Europe ”, co-chairman of the World Forum of Spiritual Culture (Austria) one of the first initiators of the international movement for spirituality and culture, held by the International Association "Peace through Culture" and Tolegen MUKHAMEDZHANOV, Deputy Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, President of the International Association“ Peace through Culture”, co-chairman of the World Forum of Spiritual Culture (Kazakhstan).
Most of the participants in the round table are members of the International Association "Peace through Culture" and members of the Council for Spiritual Culture of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly. The result of the round table will be the expansion of the circle of friends, the participants’ activity in the implementation of joint international projects.
