Secretary General: Health Topic concerns All Nations and Peoples Today More Than Ever Before

The online pre-Congress of the IX World Congress on Psychotherapy “Psychotherapy to Support People, Families, Collectives, and Society During the Coronavirus Pandemic” and the First Online Psy Fest® began to work on June 27, 2020.

Andrey Belyaninov, Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, addressed the World Congress with a greeting. “Health is an important topic nowadays, and all countries and people in difficult situation of worldwide quarantine are concerned on this matter. The consequences caused by the coronavirus pandemic affect many spheres of life, but they have a particularly acute impact on the psychological state of a person, family ties, the health of children and the elderly. In this situation, it is important to combine the efforts of world leaders in psychotherapy and psychology to find the most effective means and methods of people’s adaptation during the pandemic and after it.

The Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly supports international initiatives aimed at preserving life in all its diversity of natural, spiritual, and cultural assets, maintaining safe and comfortable conditions for people, and strengthening families and family values.

It is important for us that international congresses and forums contribute not only to the introduction of advanced technologies in the industry, strengthen professional and scientific contacts, but also help to establish good, honest and trusting human relations among those who support people's psychological health,” -  Andrey Belyaninov wrote in a welcome letter to the participants of the Congress.

The opening ceremony was attended by well-known and bright representatives of the profession from all over the world. The professional community united in face of the contemporary challenges, demonstrated an atmosphere of mutual support, a sincere desire to share knowledge, experience and opportunities.

Pre-Congress has become the largest international online event in the field of psychotherapy.  It includes 8 roundtable meetings, 4 conferences, 4 symposia, 16 sections and 17 independent lectures, 36 master classes and 36 transformational games within the game processors.

The section “Influence of Kin History and Transgenerational Relations on Descendants in the COVID-19 Pandemic Situation” was held as part of the Online Congress. The work of this section is organized by the representatives of the Council on Preserving and Development of Kin Culture under the Eurasian People’s Assembly, the modality “Rodological Method of Consulting” of All-Russian Professional Psychotherapeutic League (OPPL), Academy of Radiology and the International League of Professionals in Rodology.

The section was chaired by Larisa Dokuchaeva, Chairman of the Council on Preserving and Development of Kin Culture under the Eurasian People’s Assembly, President of the Academy of Rodology, President of the International League of Rodologists, author and head of the modality “Rodological Method of Consulting” of the OPPL, official international teacher, President of the Foundation “Family - XXI century”, expert on family law of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Ph. D. (Yekaterinburg, Russia).

The program of the section included reports that address the influence of family history and intergenerational relationships on the well-being and behavior of descendants in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. 766 people from different countries took part in the survey.
