Secretary General of the Assembly met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Benin

On February 4, Secretary General of the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations “Eurasian Peoples' Assembly” Andrei Belyaninov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Benin to the Russian Federation, Mr. Noukpo Clement Kiki.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Head of the General Secretariat of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly for International Cooperation Yulia Petrova and the Assembly's partner - President of the Centre for Business Development and Cooperation with Russia Foundation Serge Phocas Odunlami (Benin).

The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere. The issues of cultural, humanitarian and economic cooperation, including the organization of the Days of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in the Republic of Benin were discussed in the format of an open dialogue.

Benin occupies an important place in the regional integration association of West African countries and is one of the founders of ECOWAS (The Economic Community of West African States). During the meeting, important agreements on cooperation were reached. They will allow the projects of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly to advance more effectively on the African continent.
