On March 16, the Association Russian House of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation (RH ISTC), a member of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly turned 28 years old.
The Association was established on March 16, 1992 by a decision of the Government of the Russian Federation. Its founders are the Ministry of Science, Higher School and Technical Policy of the Russian Federation (now the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation); the State Committee of the Russian Federation for State Property Management (now the Federal Property Management Agency); the Russian Academy of Sciences; Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR).
During its existence, the Association RH ISTC established itself as a creative non-state development institute in the field of science and technology.
Since its establishment, the Association RH ISTC has represented the interests of the Russian Federation in a number of international organizations. In particular, since 1996 it is the official representative of Russia in the Asia-Pacific Center for Technology Transfer, operating under the auspices of the UN. The Association RH ISTC is also the founder of the Russian-Chinese consortium Center for Science and High Technologies, a partner of the Italian Foreign Trade Institute (ICE), and since 1998, a member of the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA).
The international activity of the Association RH ISTC extends to the whole world, including countries of EAEU, SCO, BRICS, ASEAN, APEC and EU Alliances.
At present, the Association RH ISTC is an accredited member and participant in all international innovative, as well as scientific and technical salons and exhibitions.
The Association RH ISTC made a significant contribution to the organization of new forms of Russian entrepreneurship in the scientific and technical field.
In addition, the Association regularly provides charitable assistance in the scientific and technical field, paying for patenting abroad of especially important technologies.
The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly congratulates the Association RH ISTC on its anniversary and wishes the Association many years of prosperity and success in the field of scientific and technical cooperation important for the whole world.
