RSOnews: Medoev met with the Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly

On January 24, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia Dmitry Medoev and the Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Andrey Belyaninov held a working meeting in Moscow, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of South Ossetia reports.

During the conversation, the parties exchanged views on key issues of friendly bilateral relations, discussed the possibility of implementing joint projects and events in culture and economy.

Taking into account the growing role of integration processes on the Eurasian continent and attaching great importance to the development of communication platforms at the international level in order to establish humanitarian and business cooperation, the sides expressed their intention to sign an agreement on cooperation and open a Representative Office of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in the Republic of South Ossetia.

The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia to the Russian Federation Z.N. Gassiev.

Recall, the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly is the International Union of non-governmental organizations and citizens with an active life position, sharing and promoting the ideas and values ​​of Eurasian integration, protection of peace, strengthening friendship, harmony, partnership and good neighborliness among peoples.

The International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations "Eurasian Peoples' Assembly" was established at the Constituent Assembly on May 27, 2017.
