On June 7, 2022, representatives of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, leaders of the patriotic movement "Glazunovka. remember" met with a physicist, associate professor of the Faculty of Physics of Moscow State University, son of the legendary Soviet intelligence officer Pavel Savinov - Vladimir Savinov.
Pavel Savinov is a military intelligence officer whose actions played a huge role in the victory of the Soviet troops in the Battle of Kursk, which became one of the turning points in the Great Patriotic War in favor of the Soviet Union. On the page of the official website of Moscow State University, you can read this heroic story told by the son of Pavel Grigorievich.
Vladimir Pavlovich showed the guests the Department of Low Temperature Physics and Superconductivity (it stands apart from the buildings of the University building, since the experiments carried out could be dangerous). It was built specifically for the research of Pyotr Kapitsa, but the great scientist worked in another building. The department became the second home for Lev Landau. And today, the work of the best minds of Russia is not interrupted in it.
Near the walls of Moscow State University there is a memorial complex dedicated to students, graduate students, staff and teachers of the Faculty of Physics, who fell in the battles for the freedom of our Motherland during the Great Patriotic War. The complex was installed in 2010 at the expense of the staff of the Faculty of Physics. The Faculty also has a Council of Veterans.
The delegation discussed the creation of the Association of Descendants of the Faculty of Physics.
The Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly consistently works to create Associations of the descendants of soldiers who participated in the Second World War on the side of the anti-Hitler coalition in order to present all military formations individually, battalion-by-battalion on the international interactive media platform being created by the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly.
