Representation of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly took part in the XV International Forum "Dialogue of Languages and Cultures of the CIS and SCO"

On December 22-24, 2021, Minsk (Republic of Belarus) hosted the XV International Forum Dialogue of Languages ​​and Cultures of the CIS and SCO in the XXI century "Linguocultural Aspects of Internationalization", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

The Forum was organized by the Moscow State Linguistic University and the Minsk State Linguistic University with the support of the Interstate Foundation for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS Member States.

Among the honorary guests of the Forum are Deputy Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee Beketzhan Zhumakhanov, Deputy Head - Head of the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus Elena Lipa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Belarus Ulvi Vagif oglu Bakhshaliev, Counselor of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Belarus Ayymkan Kulukeeva, Head of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Belarus Eduard Krustkaln, Head of the Representation of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in the Leningrad Region (Russia) Yuri Palamarchuk.

The Forum was attended by leading experts in intercultural communication, linguistics, translation studies, political science and other fields of knowledge from the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation.

Within the Forum, four Round Tables were held "Multilingualism, multiculturalism, polyconfessionalism in the educational environment", "Interaction of languages ​​and cultures in modern geopolitical conditions", "The linguistic situation and the linguistic landscape in the CIS countries", "Linguistic and cultural constants of the national languages ​​of the Commonwealth countries" and three master classes.
