The Representation of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in Bashkortostan was awarded a Gratitude for Supporting the Action "Caring for Older People"

The Representative Office of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in the Republic of Bashkortostan (Russia), represented by Executive Secretary Dmitry Trapeznikov, was awarded a gratitude for the active support of the action "Caring for Older People".

The gratitude was presented by a member of the Public Council of the Representative Office, Vice-Speaker of the State Assembly - Kurultai of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Head of the regional Executive Committee of the United Russia party Rustem Akhmadinurov, the initiator of opening of the vaccination points for 65+ citizens within the “Our Concern” project, and the action “Caring for Older People”.

Also during the solemn ceremony the Letters of Appreciation were presented to doctors and nurses who responded to the call for help, car volunteers who daily helped 65+ citizens to get for vaccinations.

In Bashkortostan, the vaccination of the population is at a steady pace. Over the past two months, more than 60 vaccination points for citizens of 65+ worked in the republic. This made it possible to significantly increase the percentage of vaccinations for residents over the age of 65. During this time, about 95 thousand people were vaccinated there.

In each specialized point for citizens 65+ visitors are presented with "Health Parcel" gifts, lectures are given by representatives of the Bashkir State Medical University and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
