Presentation of a three-volume “The Book of Memory. Latvia. Lithuania. Estonia” was held in Kaunas

On June 22 Public organization “Institute of Military Heritage” together with public organization “Kaunas Regional Association of War Veterans in Afghanistan, Disabled and Veterans of Military Service” honored the memory of soldiers-liberators as part of the International Action of Commemoration of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly. Also they held a presentation of the three-volume “The Book of Memory. Latvia. Lithuania. Estonia” for soldiers Lithuanians, members of a Limited Contingent of Soviet Troops in Afghanistan and their families.

The event was attended by: Assistant to Military, Air and Naval Attaché of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Lithuania Colonel Oleg Minzaripovich Davletzjanov and Defence Attaché of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Lithuania - Senior Counsellor Yuri Viktorovich Harin.

The three-volume “The Book of Memory. Latvia. Lithuania. Estonia” was consecrated by the priest of the Catholic Church of Lithuania.

More than 50 people attended the event.
