Two children's inclusive publications from Udmurtia at once became the winners of the All-Russian competition of youth publications "Fresh Line" in the "Inclusive publications" nomination.
The newspaper of the children's inclusive media club "Adeli" and the city's children's newspaper for blind children "School Monday" became laureates of the All-Russian competition "Fresh Line".
The interregional online exhibition of youth publications "Fresh Line" was held in the Altai Territory. The organizers of the large-scale event are the Altai Regional Palace of Creativity for Children and Youth and the regional children's and youth newspaper SAMI.
The online exhibition was attended by editorial teams of printed publications created by children and adolescents in various regions of Russia and foreign countries, the media, professional and amateur publishing houses, educational organizations, non-profit non-governmental organizations, children's and youth creative associations that publish printed materials, the authors of which are children and teenagers.
Among the participants are newspapers and magazines (regional, city, district, interschool, school, publications of centers of creativity), youth supplements to regional, city, district, departmental periodicals, children's and youth pages of regional, city, district newspapers and magazines, literary almanacs and literary collections.
Within the exhibition, a competition of publications created by children and teenagers and a round table "State and prospects of the youth press" were held. The results of the “Fresh Line” contest were announced at the official opening ceremony of the online exhibition. The winners in each category will be awarded with diplomas and prizes. All participants will receive certificates, heads of editorial teams - letters of thanks from the organizers of the exhibition.
The event is held with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Altai Territory, A.M. Toporov Altai Institute for the Development of Education", State Museum of the History of Literature, Art and Culture of Altai, the Association of Media Education Specialists, the Department of Media Education of the Institute of Journalism, Communications and Media Education of the Moscow State Pedagogical University, with the assistance of the All-Russian Public Children's Organization "League of Young Journalists", the Association of Film Education and Media Pedagogy of the Russian Federation, the Department of Pedagogy and Socio-Cultural Development of the Personality of the Rostov State Economic University, the Institute of Mass communications, philology and political science of the Altai State University.
Recall that in 2020 the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly and the EURASIA KIDS project created a textbook on journalism for blind children. The audio textbook allowed children with disabilities to get the basics of journalistic. The newspaper of the children's inclusive media club "Adeli" is published with the support of the Head of Udmurtia Alexander Brechalov and the Republican Mass Communications Agency. The newspaper "School Monday" is the only print media in Udmurtia, which is made by blind children. The newspaper is printed in Braille and is produced with the support of the Library for the Blind and under the patronage of the deputy of the City Duma of Izhevsk Bahruz Gumbatov.
