National Unity Day has become a truly family holiday in many countries. For people of different generations, it is the personification of traditions that are unshakable.
What does truly preserve the traditions of the family, the people? That's right, books. What books are read today in families? What projects have become interesting this year for the EURASIA KIDS? Children and adults remembered this on the National Unity Day.
One of the most interesting projects was "Dad, read me a book!". It is for children whose families do not have a dad. Various guests came to visit the children. For example, employees of the book publishing house "Udmurtia" Yuri Kuznetsov and Georgy Gryazev. They told about book exhibitions that take place in the CIS countries. The books of the publishing house were awarded high awards in Turkmenistan.
This year, it was decided to plan a new project “Books are friends” and continue the project “Tales of the peoples of Eurasia”. The last one is being implemented by journalist Alexei Samoletov together with children. The project participants took the initiative to make friends with libraries in different countries, to discuss books and family movies.
