The investment, trade, economic and agro-industrial potential of the Kuban was presented at the International Business Forum in Egypt,. The event "Great Eurasian Partnership: Economic Cooperation, Trade, Investment and Logistics" was held as part of the Days of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly. In total, the business forum in Cairo was attended by representatives of over 25 countries.
Ilya Shakalov, Director General of the Krasnodar Territory Development Foundation, said that Kuban occupies a leading rating position in many areas of development, and also has an advantageous geographical position. All this contributes to effective and mutually beneficial international cooperation. In addition, the Governor of Kuban Veniamin Kondratiev and his team developed a set of special measures of state support for foreign investors and domestic businesses. For example, there is effective system support for investment projects and their protection.
The Foundation, in cooperation with the Trade Representation, the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Egypt and the Regional Export Support Center, is working on preparing a business mission to the Egyptian region of Alexandria. The mission will help strengthen cooperation in trade, economic, investment and humanitarian spheres. In addition, the event will contribute to the establishment of twinning and partnership relations, the development of public diplomacy, the promotion of domestic education, science and culture, as well as the consolidation of the strategic and geopolitical interests of the Russian Federation in Africa.
At the end of the business forum, a working meeting was organized with the head of the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Egypt, Nikolai Aslanov. The participants discussed cooperation and communication ahead of the planned business mission of the Kuban to Alexandria.
