The International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, the “Give Good to the World” Charitable Foundation, the Russian and International Makarenko’s Society are the organizers of the large-scale International Festival-Competition “The World Draws Happiness”, which started in January and has already gathered more than 1000 participants from different countries.
On May 15, 2023, an exhibition of creative works sent to the competition was opened at the site of the Moscow House of Education. This place was not chosen by chance, the museum presents a large exposition of the works by the great teacher A.S. Makarenko, who once said that it is impossible to teach a person to be happy, but you can educate. It was these words that Marina Volkova, Head of the Department of Happiness of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, President of the “Give Good to the World” Charitable Foundation, said at the opening of the exhibition.
The chairman of the jury of the International Festival-Competition, People's Artist of Russia Nikas Safronov, noted that all works, both amateur and professional, are filled with happiness, shine with beauty and radiate warmth, energy goes off scale.
The goals of the festival: to unite people from different countries, representatives of different ethnic groups through the idea of commonality of fundamental criteria for assessing personal happiness; acquaintance with the culture of participants through art; development of interethnic empathy; cultivation of positive thinking ideas; development of creative initiative and aesthetic taste; support for joint creativity, including parent-children; strengthening good neighborly relations through familiarization with the spiritual and moral values, traditions and historical heritage of countries around the world. This was discussed at the opening by Alexander Fedosov, Professor of the Faculty for Information Technologies of the Russian State Social University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, and Irina Radziminskaya, Head of the Department of the Museum of Moscow Education.
The vocalists of the choir of teachers of the Moscow City Teachers' House and the dance group "Spring Caprice" under the direction of Elena Zakharova supported the holiday by their bright performances.
The exhibition presents more than 150 creative works by contest participants from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Egypt, France, India and other countries of the world. The exhibition will run until June 1, and everyone can plunge into the atmosphere of creativity and happiness.
More than 100 guests of the exhibition not only became its visitors, but also had taken with them postcards issued on the basis of creative works sent to the competition.
It is also important to note that within the project "The first anti-stress media - the Aggregator of Happiness magazine", which is being implemented with the grants support from the Mayor of Moscow for SO NPOs of the Committee for Public Relations and Youth Policy of the City of Moscow, the magazine "Aggregator of Happiness" is being published. It became the media partner of the event and published the best competitive works on its pages.
