In the face of unprecedented international turbulence, China is ready, together with Russia and other Eurasian countries, to confront common challenges for the benefit of the continent and the whole world. This was stated by the Chinese Ambassador on Friday, addressing the participants of the international forum of people's diplomacy in the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly.
The Ambassador noted that "certain forces" are pursuing an aggressive policy aimed at preserving their "hegemonic position" and this policy has led to the fact that "there is a serious shortage of peace, security and trust on the planet," and global systems are facing new risks.
According to the diplomat, in order to achieve their goals, aggressive forces impose a "new cold war" on others, provoking confrontation on the Eurasian continent.
Recall that on June 3, the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation hosted an International People's Diplomacy Forum dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the establishment of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly. The Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly is an association of non-governmental organizations from various countries of the continent that share the ideas of integration and have a common goal to strengthen peace, friendship, partnership and good neighborliness on the continent.
