On August 31, TASS, on the eve of Knowledge Day, held a press conference "Victory Engineers: Interactive Connection between Generations", dedicated to the development of a social project to preserve the historical memory of the victories and achievements of the domestic industry in critical years for the country.
The conference was attended by representatives of government, science and industry, public figures, journalists.
Igor Gorodnichiy, president of the “Alliance Media” National Business Partnership spoke about the opening of the information section "Victory Engineers" on the Media Platform "Russian Memory Network".
The platform is a project of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, implemented in partnership with Alliance Media. The Assembly works consistently to preserve historical memory, popularize scientific and technical creativity, patriotism and historical education of young people, counteract the falsification of history. As part of this activity, master classes are held with filmmakers on film and photography, an international register of monuments in the countries of Eurasia is being created, international public forums and conferences are held with volunteers - schoolchildren and students from many countries, etc.
The “Victory Engineers” project, which is held as part of the International Youth Scientific and Technical Festival “Ot Vinta!” (under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia), presented unique archival data about designers, engineers, scientists who made a key contribution to the technological breakthrough of the 40-50s of the last century to a wide audience.
Festival "Ot Vinta!" was the first on the Eurasian continent to revive the scientific and technological movement of children and youth.
