The Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly held another working meeting on the upcoming April 24 International Teleconference “Meeting on the Elbe - 75".

It is symbolic that today, on April 10, the world celebrates the International Day of the Resistance Movement. It is dedicated to all those who opposed the Nazis during the Second World War (1939-1945) in the territories occupied by the troops of the Third Reich. The actions of the movement's participants in different countries significantly contributed to the victory of the anti-Hitler coalition and hastened the end of the war.

The International teleconference “Meeting on the Elbe 75” is a part of the megaproject “VICTORIOUS TOGETHER – for Peace and Creation” implemented by the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly and its partners for the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Second World War. The teleconference is intended to recall the victory of the Allies in the Second World War, to draw the public’s attention to the issues of preserving historical memory, to counter attempts to rehabilitate Nazism, and to offer new ideas for saving the planet from wars, climate and other threats. The teleconference will be broadcast live on September 24 in the accounts of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly on Facebook and YouTube.
