On October 8-9, the International Forum of Friendship Houses “Eurasian Bridges of Friendship” and the Congress of peoples of Russia will be held online. Representatives of four countries - Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia will take part in the event. The Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly is the co-organizer of the forum.
The organizers invite representatives of local authorities, activists of national-cultural associations, managers and specialists of the houses of friendship, houses of nationalities, national cultural centres, resource centres in the field of national relations of the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, representatives of the participating countries authorities, the activities related to the implementation of the state national policy, and civil society representatives of participating countries, leaders and activists of non-governmental organizations operating in the ethno-cultural sphere, leading experts, cultural, scientific and educational figures of the participating countries who have experience in research and practical work in the field of harmonization of inter-ethnic relations to participate in the Forum and the Congress.
The event will include a plenary session and panel discussions with a presentation of the most successful practices in the field of state national policy. Leading experts will talk about the resources the house of nationalities at any level has. They will give examples of successful cases both in Russia and abroad.

The Forum and Congress organized the all-Russian public organization “Assembly of peoples of Russia”, Russian public movement “Co-Creation of Nations for Life” (Senezhskaya Forum), the Assembly of the peoples of the Udmurt Republic, the House of Friendship of peoples of the Udmurt Republic. The event is supported by the Federal Agency for the Affairs of Nationalities, Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of National Policy of Udmurt Republic, the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, Committee on International and friendly relations with foreign countries under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan and Assembly of the people of Kyrgyzstan.
